We deliver our Technishelter marquees nationwide and dispatch daily from our Showroom located in Bayswater North, Victoria.
Our shelters have been sent everywhere in Australia, from Cape York to Port Hedland, from Arnhem Land to Hobart, and from Norfolk Island to Margaret River.
Estimated Delivery Times
Receiving a delivery is exciting! We know the feeling that once an order is on its way, you get anxious about when it will arrive. Naturally, we get many people asking about delivery times.
While delivery times often vary seasonally, the standard freight services we use typically take the following amount of time:
- To Melbourne (1-2 days) on standard service, but we have same day delivery available
- To Sydney (2-3 days)
- To Adelaide (2-3 days)
- To Brisbane (3-4 days)
- To Perth (4-5 days)
- Add on a couple of extra days extra for regional locations or busy seasonal periods
For those with urgency, overnight services are also available to many locations around Australia at an additional cost.
We use a network of different delivery partners
We do not do our own marquee deliveries. Like most businesses, we subcontract delivery out to a range of different couriers.
Over the years, it feels like we’ve tried almost every courier company that’s out there! We wanted to go with a service that is not only reliable and reasonably priced, but offers great customer service to us and to our clients. It took some time, but now we’ve settled on a few that we’ve found to tick all those boxes.
Bluestar Logistics
Our “go to” courier, we have found Bluestar to be extremely competitive on price for bulky goods (like marquees), while at the same time maintaining reasonable transit times.
They are not as fast as services such as TNT, and their online tracking is not as precise, but in general we find that it’s a reasonable balance between price and good service.

TNT Express
TNT is our premium choice for delivery partners, and a brand that many Australians are familiar with. Their orange and white trucks can be spotted on major roads daily!
They have excellent transit times, more accurate with their ETAs, as well as detailed online tracking, making it easier to see where your delivery is.
As with everything, you get what you pay for. TNT charge a considerable amount more than Bluestar, but sometimes that extra peace of mind is worth it, especially if you have an approaching event date.

Capital Transport
Capital Transport is our chosen freight provider for same day courier deliveries in Melbourne. There are a variety of different services available depending on how urgently you require delivery.
Their basic service is a “4 hour window” delivery, meaning that once the items are collected from our office, they have an allowance of 4 hours to deliver the package. The only catch is that someone must be available to receive and sign for delivery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pick up?
Sure can! Our showroom & warehouse is located in Bayswater Victoria, and you can arrange collection of your new Techishelter™ from there.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM.
How quickly do you dispatch orders?
When it’s business as usual for us, we typically dispatch goods the following business day, but if you order before 11AM, there is a good chance we can get your order out the same day.
I need something urgently. Is there an overnight freight option?
Absolutely! We’ve sent pallet loads of marquees from Melbourne to Darwin before. Be aware though that overnight services attract a price premium.
Do you deliver to residential addresses?
We do, but many of our delivery partners require a signature on delivery, so you must be home at the time to receive the goods. If this may not work for you, please let us know so we can make alternative arrangements.
What happens if no one is available to receive the delivery?
We always try to obtain “Authority To Leave” instructions with residential deliveries, otherwise the consignment may be returned to the courier depot and you’ll need to pick it up from there. Alternatively, you can pay for a re-delivery and the courier will attempt to deliver it a second time.
Can I request delivery on a specific day or time?
Whilst you can request this, couriers cannot guarantee such arrangements, as they have to process hundreds of orders daily. If you only have a short window to receive delivery, we would recommend opting for the same day delivery service if you’re in Melbourne, or otherwise you can organise collection from the local courier depot.
